Aubameyang’s goal rewarded ex-Manchester City ace Ferran Torres for his cheeky chip to the back post.
The narrow win helped Barca leapfrog Sevilla in the table and climb up to second.
However, with six games to go, Barca are 15 points behind league leaders Real Madrid, but do have a game in hand.
Manager Xavi says the win was “crucial for the future of the club.”

The legendary midfielder said: “I am satisfied with the three points.
“They are vital and crucial for the future to the team and the club. It’s a golden victory.
“But I’m not satisfied with the game. The first half, yes, but in the second half we suffered.
“We have to be honest and self-critical. We haven’t been good.

“We have to improve. This is not the way. It’s not been our ideal game. These are three crucial points against a direct rival for the Champions League.
“It’s the game in which I’ve suffered the most, along with the one against Villarreal. We noticed the fatigue.”
The 32-year-old Gabon striker’s latest goal happens to be his ninth league goal in 11 games played for Barca.
Aubameyang failed to score in his opening two LaLiga outings against defending champions Atletico Madrid and rivals Espanyol.
But since then, he has been in free-scoring form, netting a hat-trick against Valencia as well as a brace against Real Madrid.
He also netted twice in Barca’s Europa League knockout stages campaign, which ended at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt.
Aubameyang is now Barca’s join top scorer despite being joining the club in late January.
