ERIC DIER suffered a horrific gash on his face after a nasty clash with Neal Maupay.
The Tottenham defender went up for a challenge with the Brighton striker during their Premier League showdown at the Amex.

He was treated on and off the pitch but allowed to continue Credit: PA With just eight minutes on the clock, Seagulls ace Maupay caught Dier with a flailing arm.
Dier had blood streaming down his face from above his right eye and nose thanks to the gruesome injury.
He was initially treated on the pitch by the physio before heading off for further attention.
And the 28-year-old England star trotted back on to the field sporting a Terry Butcher-style bandage wrapped around his head.
