CRYSTAL PALACE ace Tyrick Mitchell was sent off after a horror challenge on Fulham’s Kenny Tete and left the pitch clearly distraught.
Palace and the Cottagers faced off in their first Premier League match after the World Cup break at Selhurst Park.
The Whites beat the Eagles 3-0 thanks to goals by Bobby Decordova-Reid, Tim Ream and Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Palace endured a nightmare afternoon as they were also reduced to nine men due to two red cards.
The first one took place after just 34 minutes following a horror challenge by Mitchell on Tete.
The incident took place just three minutes after Decordova-Reid’s opener.

The left-back caught the Fulham ace with a late challenge that saw his studs hitting his opponent’s leg.
Tete was in immense pain after the clash and the England international was shown a straight red.
The 23-year-old was clearly devastated as he walked off the pitch with his shirt placed over his head.
Things got even worse for Palace manager Patrick Vieira on 57 minutes as James Tomkins was also given his marching orders.

Tomkins was booked for the second time after he needlessly threw an elbow on Mitrovic while the ball was going towards goalkeeper Vicente Guaita.
Palace then completely crumbled as Ream doubled the visitors’ lead on 71 minutes and Mitrovic sealed the win just nine minutes later.
