CRISTIANO RONALDO must adapt his game and accept not being a nailed-on starter to stay at Manchester United, reckons Gary Neville.

The Portuguese forward’s future has been a hot topic in recent weeks, amid murmurings that he could leave this summer just one season into his two-year deal.

Fresh reports from Spain this week, however, suggest that Ronaldo, 37, has now decided to STAY at Old Trafford – trusting in club chiefs to get their next managerial appointment right.

His old team-mate Gary Neville believes that he’ll have to adapt to stay on at the Theatre of Dreams.

Asked if Ronaldo will be at United next season, he told Sky Sports: “I’m unsure, it depends who the manager is and what the project is for the new manager.
