‘Class is permanent’ – Artist Reuben Dangoor unveils stunning Marcus Rashford mural showing online praise and abuse

A STUNNING mural for Marcus Rashford has brilliantly shown support for the Manchester United forward.

The Red Devils attacker is enduring a tough spell on the pitch at the moment.

He has not scored since January 22 and was slammed by Roy Keane for SMILING in the warm-up against Chelsea.

But artist Reuben Dangoor has produced a fine piece of artwork on a wall in the Shudehill area of Manchester – revealing online abuse and highlighting praise for Rashford.

The painting shows the Manchester-born ace in a Red Devils home shirt with his eyes closed and wearing a pair of Beats earbuds to block out the noise as part of the collaboration with the tech brand.

On the left, above the term “form is temporary” sits below a cluster of angry emoji-style faces interspersed with raging tweets hitting out at Rashford.

“Beats wanted to do something to show support for Marcus, who is subject to a huge amount of abuse on social media.

Away from scoring 105 goals in 349 appearances for United and England, 24-year-old Rashford has demonstrated his compassion for the community.
