  • Half-time – Burnley 0-0 Leicester

Chris Kavanagh calls time on an intriguing first half performance.

Cornet hit the back of the net inside 20 minutes. But, VAR ruled his boot to be offside. In fact, Cornet has spent most of the game in an offside position. You could hear the the Burnley fans frustration when the linesman’s flag went up for the third time against the Ivorian. However, the relationship between Cornet and Weghorst appears to be growing, with some nice touches between the two in the last few minutes of the half.

At the other end, Leicester have had 11 attempts on target, 8 more than their opponents, and carried a serious threat going forward. Harvey Barnes has looked dangerous and had a couple of chances in front of goal. However, Nick Pope has saved everything thrown at him this evening, and is keeping his team in it.

It’s all to play for in the second half!
