WILLIAM SALIBA’S wondergoal capped off a sensational afternoon for Arsenal against Bournemouth.
Gabriel Jesus’ superb run into the box set up a shot which Mick Travers parried into Odegaard’s path before the Norwegian added a second.
William Saliba then got in on the act, firing a sublime strike into the top corner to make it 3-0.
Gabriel Jesus also wanted to get in on the scoring, but his effort was disallowed by VAR after being millimetres offside.

Arsenal beat Bournemouth 3-0 after a stunning performance at the Vitality Stadium.
The Gunners opened the scoring only five minutes after kick off when Gabriel Jesus dribbled past everyone and played the ball to Gabriel Martinelli on his left.
Martinelli’s shot was denied by Mark Travers but a loose ball found an unmarked Martin Odegaard who scored in front of open goal.
Arsenal doubled their lead just six minutes later when Ben White delivered a low cross from the right while marginally onside.
Jesus got a touch and set Odegaard up for his second goal of the day.
William Saliba sealed Arsenal’s triumph with a wondergoal from the edge of the area on 54 minutes.
Granit Xhaka played the ball to Saliba from the left and the defender beat Travers with a stunning curling effort that hit the top left corner of the net.
Jesus thought he scored Arsenal’s fourth a few minutes later but was caught offside after Odegaard’s through ball inside the box by VAR.

Mikel Arteta reacts
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta praised Gabriel Jesus after another impressive performance that saw him getting involved in two of the three goals.
Arteta told the BBC: “We expected a very difficult game from the beginning after seeing how Bournemouth started against Aston Villa and we wanted to avoid that type of game.
“We were really efficient in ball possession and in the box.
“That is something you don’t train. He [Jesus] is playing with such talent. He was involved in two of the three goals”
Martin Odegaard reacts
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, who scored a brace, praised his team-mates and singled Gabriel Jesus out.
Odegaard told Sky Sports: “It was really solid from start to the end.
“We came out and dominated, made some good chances and scored some good goals.
“We know it’s always difficult coming to these places. We have struggled before but we were so sharp and aggressive. It was a good performance from start to finish.
“He [Jesus] is not just about goals. He gives us so much in the play and he drops down to combine. He is brilliant and he is amazing to play with. We are lucky to have him here”

Saliba is proving he can be an essential part of Mikel Arteta’s line-up as he completed all 76 of his pass attempts.
That poses as a record for a Gunners player with a 100 per cent completion rate in a Premier League match.
