BBC pundit and former Liverpool star Mark Lawrenson has quit Football Focus after 25 years.
The former defender had been a prominent figure on the Saturday afternoon preview programme since 1997.

The former defender got emotional ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final Credit: BBC But Saturday’s FA Cup final between his former side Liverpool and Chelsea will be his last appearance on the show.
Lawrenson has also been a regular on the BBC’s Match of the Day and Final Score down the years.
And on Football Focus ahead of the final at Wembley, Lawrenson was shown a montage which highlighting some of the funnier moments of his punditry career.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp also paid tribute to Lawrenson.
