ARSENAL are reportedly weighing up a £42.5million move to bring Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba to the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta is known to be in the market for another centre-back to compete with Ben White, Gabriel Magaelhaes and William Saliba.

Speaking earlier this month, Bayer’s sporting director Simon Rolfes insisted Tapsoba is not for sale.
He said: “We don’t have any offers on the table.
“And if we did, we wouldn’t let him go.”
Despite the uncertainty surrounding William Saliba’s future, it is understood that any deal for Tapsoba wouldn’t mean an exit for the Frenchman.
The 21-year-old is set for his second Arsenal debut later on Saturday in the club’s pre-season clash against Everton in Baltimore.
