ARSENAL are plotting a summer transfer for Borussia Dortmund playmaker Julian Brandt, according to reports.
Mikel Arteta has spoken on the need to improve the Gunners squad, and the German has been a long-term target.
Brandt’s contract with the Bundesliga outfit ends in 2024, but he is not part of the clubs plans beyond the end of the season, according to BILD.
With Dortmund keen to move on the midfielder a cut price deal of just £16.5m is expected to be enough for Arsenal to secure his services.
The 25-year-old has enjoyed another fruitful season with Dortmund, getting ten assists and seven goals in all competitions.
