WHEN Arsenal confirmed Mikel Arteta’s new deal with Champions League qualification still up in the air, eyebrows were raised.
Now they look set to miss out on a top-four finish and nobody is shouting louder about the folly than Piers Morgan, who has been calling for Arteta to be sacked for months.

It meant that when injuries, suspensions and dips in form inevitably struck, the team has been left well short.
