ARSENAL have beaten Leicester as their excellent start to the season continues.
Gabriel Jesus netted a first half double to justify his acquisition from Man City.
Leicester were then given hope by a William Saliba own goal before Granit Xhaka restored Arsenal’s two-goal lead in an instant.
James Maddison would then pull another goal back before history repeated itself as Martinelli netted for Arsenal direct from kick-off.

Jesus enjoyed a stunning home debut as he opened the scoring after 23 minutes.
The Gunners moved the ball nicely inside the Foxes’ area until Granit Xhaka tapped it to the star striker on the left and he beat Danny Ward with a fabulous curling shot.
The North Londoners’ star signing completed his brace on 35 minutes after Gabriel Martinelli’s corner-kick.
Jamie Vardy accidentally headed the ball backwards to the far post where the Brazil international was lurking and beat Ward with a close-range header.
Leicester thought they got a penalty when Vardy went down inside the box during a challenge with Aaron Ramsdale but VAR showed there was no contact.
The Foxes thought they were back in the game when William Saliba head the ball to his own net in the 53rd minute.
But Arsenal responded just two minutes later when Ward failed to hold on to Bukayo Saka’s long ball and that led to Jesus setting Xhaka up for the third.
Leicester got a second on 74 minutes when Kelechi Iheanacho set James Maddison on the right and he beat Ramsdale from a tight corner.
But Arsenal responded just one minute later when Gabriel Martinelli was allowed too much time to shoot from the edge of the area and beat Ward
