GARY NEVILLE says he would have “whacked” Antony for the incredible piece of footwork he produced during Manchester United’s win over Arsenal.
The £85.5million new boy enjoyed a brilliant debut as he fired the Red Devils ahead shortly before the break.
Marcus Rashford then grabbed a brace in the second half as United sealed a 3-1 victory and a fourth-successive win.
However, Antony showed off his magic even before his goal with some nifty footwork.
The 22-year-old former Ajax winger raced forward with the ball down the right before stopping in line with the box.
Antony then stood in front of Oleksandr Zinchenko and attempted to confuse the Arsenal ace by twirling his leg around in the air.

But the South American’s efforts appeared to be in vain as he subsequently only ended up playing the ball backwards to a teammate anyway.
Antony’s antics soon became a talking point for both viewers and Sky Sports pundits.
And ex-Man United full-back Neville and Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher both declared that they would have gotten their revenge in a physical fashion if an opponent had tried it on them.
Neville said: “To be honest with you, when you see a player doing that your automatic reaction as a defender…”

Carragher then interrupted, saying: “Put him in the stand.”
Neville agreed, saying: “Yeah, you are going to get whacked. But from a United point of view, we have been asking for personality, confidence and character.
“So we can’t knock it because we have got someone out there who is having himself, massively.”
