Antonio Conte ‘banishes transfer-listed Tottenham stars Winks, Lo Celso, Reguilon and Ndombele from first-team training’

TOTTENHAM boss Antonio Conte has “banished” Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilon and Harry Winks from first-team training, reports suggest.

According to the Evening Standard, the foursome have fallen out of favour at Spurs and have been training on their own since the team’s return from pre-season in South Korea.

The four outcasts have been informed that Conte can only work with a certain amount of players and are practicing individually at separate times from the rest of the squad.

The North Londoners are looking for buyers but understand their future may not be resolved until the final week of the summer transfer window, and probably not even before deadline day.

Ndombele and Lo Celso have been linked with Villarreal, where the latter spent the second half of last season on loan, but an official offer has yet to arrive.

Fiorentina are also interested in the Argentina international, but both the Yellow Submarine and the Serie A outfit prefer a loan while Tottenham are trying to offload the midfielder permanently.

Ndombele, who was sent back on loan to Lyon last season, has been offered to Newcastle by his representatives but manager Eddie Howe is not convinced the midfielder can deliver at St James’ Park.

Winks, who has 10 England caps, has been linked with Valencia but there has been no official offer, while earlier interest from Everton and Leicester has cooled.

Reguilon was being eyed by Sevilla but the Spanish giants ended their interest after landing Manchester United ace Alex Telles on loan.

However, Brighton are still interested in the full-back after losing Marc Cucurella to Chelsea.

Tottenham could also be open to letting Bryan Gil leaving on loan to continue his development.

Gil spent the second half of last season at Valencia, who are keen to re-sign him while Real Sociedad are also keeping tabs.
