PILLOW FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP history was made last weekend as the promotion recorded its first knockout during its inaugural pay-per-view event.
The bizarre promotion – in which combatants aim to stop each other by swinging pillows like angry children – returned for its first card of the year last weekend.
And one of the men’s bouts ended in a stunning technical knockout.
Footage of a fighter only identified as Mike being sent to the canvas following a wild flurry was shared by the promotion on Monday afternoon.
Red corner fighter Mike was clocked on the chin after recklessly leaving his guard open.
To his credit, Mike bounced right back to his feet to resume the action before briefly bracing himself against the ropes as he was issued a ten count.
But the referee wisely called a halt to the contest seconds before restarting the fight after seeing a dazed Mike bent over with his hands on his knees
Before the fight was stopped, a spectator could be heard shouting: “Let’s go, Mike. It’s a pillow fight. It’s just a fluffy pillow fight.”

PFC’s latest event featured not one but TWO former UFC fighters on the card.
Brazilian middleweight Markus Perrez duked it out with Reggie Newsome before their clash nearly turned into a brawl.
Former featherweight Marcus Brimage – the man who welcomed Conor McGregor to the UFC nearly nine years ago – also featured on the card.
The Ultimate Fighter season 14 winner suffered a decision defeat to Hauley Tillman in the final of the men’s tournament.
Hauley pocketed a meagre £3,700 for his tournament triumph.
Prior to the card, PFC CEO Steve Williams said of the promotion: “PFC delivers all the drama of hand-to-hand combat without the gore of mixed martial arts or boxing.”
“It’s not something where you sit there and laugh and feathers are flying.
“It’s serious. It’s hardcore swinging with specialised pillows.
“The only difference between our fights and MMA fights is that nobody gets hurt.
“The fighters don’t like to get hurt, and there’s a lot of people who don’t want to see the blood.
“They want to see good competition, they just don’t want to see the violence.”
