Tyson Fury refuses to rule out FOURTH fight with Deontay Wilder if Oleksandr Usyk unification collapses

TYSON FURY has refused to rule out a FOURTH fight with Deontay Wilder if his proposed unification with Oleksandr Usyk collapses.

Fury hopes to face Usyk next year, in what would be the heavyweight division’s first four-belt undisputed bout.

But he has lined up old rival Wilder as an alternative if talks with the Ukrainian boxing hero falls by the wayside.

Fury, 34, told SecondsOut: “Don’t write a fourth fight off with me and Deontay Wilder.

“I don’t mind. It’s a great fight, if he becomes mandatory again and I don’t get this other fight with [Oleksandr Usyk], then we’ll do Wilder again.

“Who wouldn’t wanna watch that again?”

Wilder previously claimed a fourth bout with Fury is sure-thing, saying: “As long as he’s in the business and I’m in the business, it’s inevitable.”

Fury wanted to fight Usyk, 35, next after Anthony Joshua, 32, was beaten twice on the spin.

But the former cruiserweight king ruled himself out after returning to his war-torn home for the first time, where his family awaited him.

Fury then unexpectedly turned his attention to AJ but talks for a December 3 all-British blockbuster broke down.

He is now expected to face Derek Chisora, 38, to complete their trilogy despite two one-sided wins in 2011 and 2014.

Meanwhile, Joshua is in line for a December 17 return with opponents being evaluated.

Wilder could force through another shot at Fury by beating Robert Helenius, 38, in his comeback bout over the weekend.

That would mean he faces Andy Ruiz Jr, 33, in a final eliminator, with the victor emerging as mandatory challenger for the WBC belt.
