Tyson Fury claims rival Derek Chisora ‘changed the goalposts’ in talks as trilogy fight now appears to be OFF

TYSON FURY has accused Derek Chisora of scuppering their shock trilogy fight by moving “the goalposts”.

Preliminary talks over a third fight between the pair took place earlier this month, although no formal offers were tabled.

But WBC heavyweight king Fury has hinted the domestic dust-up has gone the way of the Dodo due to an outrageous purse demand from Del Boy.

In a video on his social media channels, he said: “Do you know the funny this is – people love to do deals and then ask for more or change the goalposts.

“But the usual thing for me is then I tell them to go get f****d. So there we are.”

Former world title challenger Chisora was tagged in the clip but has yet to respond to his old rival.

Fury, 33, stunned fans this month by ending his brief retirement and publicly calling for a third clash with Chisora.

He said: “I’ve decided to come back to boxing because I can be the first heavyweight champion in history to have two trilogies.

“One with Deontay Wilder and a second one with Derek Chisora. I always said I’d fight Derek Chisora at the end of my career.

“And here we are, breaking all records again, setting precedents.”

But co-promoter Bob Arum has shut down the prospect of The Gypsy King clashing with Chisora – who he has two wins over – again.

He told Fight Freaks United: “Everybody is waiting for the fight to happen a week from Saturday.

“And then we’ll explore whether it’s feasible to do a fight for the complete unification.

“He’s having fun, for Christ’s sake! Don’t take it seriously!”

Fury announced his retirement from boxing moments after his brutal sixth-round KO victory over Dillian Whyte at Wembley in April.
