Tyson Fury claims he has another TEN FIGHTS in him but reveals Anthony Joshua will not be one of them

TYSON FURY has claimed he could have another ten fights in him – but downplayed the chances of him ever facing Anthony Joshua.

The Gypsy King is preparing for his next fight – the 34th of his professional career – against Derek Chisora on December 3rd.

It was announced early this week the bout will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with fans urged to wrap up warm.

Fury believes the fight could be one of many before he retires as the heavyweight indicated he could step into the ring another ten times.

It’s an incredible turnaround from the 34-year-old who retired from the sport earlier this year.

He told Talksport: “I had retirement for four/five months and I didn’t like how it tasted.

“I’m here until the cows come home. I might have another ten fights. The only thing that gets me going is boxing.”

Despite his potential longevity, Fury played down the chances of him ever getting in a ring with Joshua.

The two camps were involved in intense negotiations over several weeks before things fell apart.

And Fury now says he doesn’t ever see it happening.

When asked if he could ever fight AJ, Fury said: “I don’t think so. They’re too hard to work with.

“It’s too difficult and, like I said, you can’t make someone do something they don’t want to do.

“When me and [Deontay] Wilder fought the first time, I said ‘send me the contract over’, it was signed within two days. Bosh bosh, see you in a bit.

“Went over there, did the fight, whatever. When you want to fight somebody, you make the fight happen.”

Fury will be hoping to get a crack at Oleksandr Usyk in 2023, with the Ukrainian holding most of the belts in the heavyweight division.

He’s also indicated a willingness to go head-to-head with fellow Brit Joe Joyce one day.
