MANNY PACQUIAO will appear via HOLOGRAM for his charity fight press conference on Thursday evening.
In a first in the sport of boxing, the Filipino legend will be appear in real-time and be able to hear the media and his YouTube star opponent DK Yoo.
Pacquiao will do so from Seoul, with the press conference taking place nearly 6,000 miles away in Los Angeles.
Speaking about the hologram, Michael Weber, COO of promoter’s FITE, said: “When you’re presenting a Manny Pacquiao fight you don’t mess around, even when time and distance don’t cooperate.
“Our CMO, Kim Hurwitz, pitched this idea and we loved it. We decided it was time to call on Proto for a high-tech solution to let Manny be literally in two places at once.
“The PacMan vs. DK Yoo fight which will officially be a Triller Fight Club event on FITE, is going to be such an epic match – even its press conference will be making history.”

But he has now decided to step back into the ring for a charity contest with South Korean internet sensation DK Yoo.
The pair faced off in person at the first official press conference in Seoul a few days ago.

Lewis Hamilton was once a hologram star during a promotional campaign in America.
And earlier this year, a number of England rugby players appeared as holograms to surprise school children for a virtual PE lesson.
