KELL BROOK has been urged to choose a ‘sensible fight’ with Conor Benn next instead of Chris Eubank Jr.
Brook has secured himself at least another mega-money payday, if he wants, after finally ending his rivalry with Amir Khan.
After his six-round demolition job over Khan, 35, Sheffield’s ex-welterweight champion already had two potential rival’s ringside.
Middleweight contender Eubank Jr, 32, and welterweight prospect Benn, 25, both worked as pundits in Manchester and called out Brook.
But Sky Sports’ Carl Froch – no stranger to all-British beef – told Brook to stay at welterweight with Benn instead of moving up for Eubank Jr.
Froch, 44, said to iFL TV: “That’s more of a sensible fight. That’s what I should have said when I was talking about Chris Eubank Jr.
“I prefer the Conor Benn fight just because of the size. Conor Benn, I’ve got a lot of respect for him. I think he’s a great fighter.
“I think the Chris Eubank Jr fight is too big for him.”

Brook, 35, has only once gone as high as middleweight, in a 2016 defeat to Gennady Golovkin, 39.
He replaced Eubank Jr, who failed to agree terms with GGG, and the grudge has remained ever since.
Unbeaten Benn is on the rise and building his record against experienced but declining campaigners.
He visited Khan’s dressing room following the crushing loss and promised to avenge the defeat on his behalf.
But Froch, who retired in 2014 after knocking out George Groves, 33, at Wembley, called for Brook to hang them up in a similar way.
If he’s going to fight again, should it be Chris Eubank Jr, or should it be Conor Benn? Conor Benn absolutely just because of the size.”
Carl Froch on Kell Brook
He said: “I actually want Kell Brook to retire now, 100 per cent.
“I think one of the reasons he was able to stay in there is because of, and I don’t want to take anything away from his performance because he did really well, but it was because of the lack of what was coming back from Amir Khan.
“That’s why I say Khan has got to retire. If he doesn’t, it’s stupid. It’s ridiculous.
“He can’t carry on fighting; it’s as simple as that. I’d like to see Kell retire now after that win.
“It was a great win, but if he’s going to fight again, should it be Chris Eubank Jr, or should it be Conor Benn? Conor Benn absolutely just because of the size.”
