The strongman rivals – who weighed a combined 47 STONE – settled their score in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium.
Hafthor Bjornsson beat Eddie Hall Thor emerged victorious with two knockdowns and bragging rights to his name as he won by unanimous decision.
But disaster almost struck in round two for Bjornsson after a right hook sent him into the ropes and facing a standing eight count.
He was also bundled to the deck by Hall’s sheer force – even though the referee called it a slip – with Thor still feeling the power.
