FLOYD MAYWEATHER and YouTuber Deji were locked in a dispute over the size of the boxing gloves they will wear in their exhibition bout.
The pair are set for eight spectacle rounds in Dubai tomorrow night at the Coca-Cola Arena.
But Deji’s friend Ryan Taylor, who helped broker the extraordinary exhibition bout, revealed there was a row over the gloves.
He told Fred Talks Fighting: “Deji’s got a way of surprising people, we’ll see what happens. Deji’s got power man.
“We were literally just talking about it there and having a joke about it because there were some conversations about 10oz gloves.
“Everyone’s been talking about gloves but yeah, Deji’s tough. We’re going to see what happens.”

SunSport understands Mayweather wanted to fight in the smaller 10oz gloves, as would be the case in a professional bout.
But that was not in the contract and the bout is instead set to be contested over 14oz gloves.
Mayweather, 45, is boxing in his fifth exhibitions since officially retiring in 2017 after beating UFC superstar Conor McGregor, 34.
He hit the scales at 70kg, or 11 stone, which is his second highest weight ever.
Deji, 25, was up just before and came it at 79.5, or 12st 5lb to take a much needed weight advantage into the bout.
