CONOR MCGREGOR has teased a bumper exhibition fight with Ricky Hatton ahead of the boxing legend’s return this weekend.
The Hitman, who retired from the ring in 2012, will climb between the ropes on Saturday for an exhibition bout against Marco Antonio Barrera at the AO Arena in Manchester.
The 44-year-old grandfather has shed a whopping four stone for what he describes as his last hurrah for his legion of fans.
However, now supporters could see him in action again against UFC icon McGregor.
Notorious has previous experience in the ring after losing to Floyd Mayweather back in 2017.
The Irishman has spoken numerous times about his desire to box again, with a potential rematch with Mayweather rumoured.

Now McGregor, who is preparing for his UFC return following the broken leg he suffered against Dustin Poirier last year, has dropped a hint he could face Hatton.
It came as he responded to a tweet from the ex-light-welterweight and welterweight world champion’s agent that highlighted a number of fans wanting a showdown between the pair.
McGregor tweeted: “Wouldn’t that be something.”
Hatton’s clash with 48-year-old Mexican warhorse Barrera was originally scheduled for July 2 but suffered a postponement.

But his comeback is STILL ON after it was announced his exhibition fight with Marco Antonio Barrera had been rescheduled for November 12.
Hatton, who famously ballooned up between fights, had left no stone unturned in preparation for his showdown with Mexican great Barrera.
Hatton ditched booze and junk food – sticking to a strict diet.
Following his incredible transformation, Ricky even sparred with pro son Campbell, 21, before sharing his pride on Twitter.
