CONOR BENN has told Amir Khan to stop driving up the price of their top-gear fight just so he can buy more flashy motors.
The 25-year-old welterweight was ringside to watch Kell Brook TKO the 35-year-old Bolton hero inside six thrilling February rounds.
Benn, the rapidly improving son of British legend Nigel, wanted to leap in the ring and secure a fight that night.
But both 35-year-old Sheffield victor Brook and Khan have asked for over £10million to face the red-hot prospect.
Ahead of April 19’s learning fight against Chris van Heerden, The Destroyer said: “Kell wanted £10million and that is silly. Half of that is more realistic. I know he is looking for one last pay cheque.
“Khan’s team has been in touch with my team recently too and greed is a terrible thing.

“I could understand the winner of that fight – Kell – coming out and wanting to fight again because he looked great.
“But Khan looked like he needs to call it a day – but when you are out there spending £500,000 on Lamborghinis, I can see why you need another payday.”
Benn wants a crack at a 10st 7lbs world title soon but he understands the current champions like Terence Crawford and Errol Spence are ahead of him in terms of experience and are busy making other plans.
There is a long list of second-tier opponents waiting in the wings to try to take his big-money scalp.

And one that has leapt on to the radar is Scottish friend Josh Taylor, who is about to leave his four world titles at super-lightweight to move up to 147lbs.
“Josh Taylor is moving up,” he said with a mischievous grin. “Me and Josh Taylor get on well, there is no needle there, he is a great fighter, just look at his resume.
“But if he moves up to welterweight it could be a massive domestic fight between us. Brook and Khan are at a crossroads but Josh Taylor is hot property.”
Brook seems most likely to have a summer catch-weight bout with middleweight nemesis Chris Eubank Jr.
And that would leave Khan and Benn free to thrash out a deal that would potentially catapult the prospect into world title fights and signal the end of Khan’s brilliant career.
