Chris Eubank Jr believes he’ll be first to KO YouTube star Jake Paul but it would cost £20m to get him in the ring


CHRIS EUBANK JR says he would be happy to be the first to knock out “not on my level” Jake Paul – but only for a £20million payday.

The 33-year-old from Brighton is currently putting the finishing touches on his preparation ahead of a welterweight clash with Conor Benn, 26, on Saturday.

Eubank Jr mocked him last month by saying he usually abstains from sex for eight weeks to face top fighters – but would only take a week off to prepare for Paul.

The Brit also called out The Problem Child after his scheduled fight with Hasim Rahman Jr in August was cancelled.

Next Gen says he would take the fight despite often weighing in at as much as 30lb lighter than Paul and being three inches shorter.

Eubank Jr told SPORTbible: “I would fight Jake. He’s making a lot of noise in the boxing world.

“He’s undefeated, he is a big name and he draws big numbers.

“It’s a fight where fans are saying I want you to be the first guy to knock him out.

“So even though he is not on my level I’ll take £20million to beat up Jake Paul.

“I don’t know how much they are making for each fight but that would be a super fight.

“And you know I’d be expecting a nice little paycheck after that.”
