EURO 2020 will hold plenty of subplots for Arsenal fans to watch.
A number of Gunners stars are in the mix for call-ups to the summer bonanza.
But which of the Arsenal squad will be present at this summer’s finals? What countries do they represent? And what are their chances of featuring at the tournament?
Here, SunSport takes a closer look at which of Mikel Arteta’s players could feature at Euro 2020.
Group A
Turkey
Italy
Wales
Switzerland – Granit Xhaka
The Swiss kick off their tournament against Wales on June 12 and Arsenal midfielder Xhaka should captain his country in Baku as he closes in on a century of caps.
Group B
Denmark
Finland
Belgium
Russia
There are no Arsenal players in this group.

Group C
Netherlands
Ukraine
Austria
North Macedonia
Likewise, Group C boasts no Gunners.
Group D
England – Bukayo Saka, Ainsley Maitland-Niles
Croatia
Scotland – Kieran Tierney
Czech Republic
Gareth Southgate will announce his squad in the coming week-and-a-half with zero Arsenal players surviving his last call-up.
That was only because Saka withdrew through injury and the winger is well in the mix to make the 26-man selection.
Maitland-Niles has also been capped by the Three Lions boss but it would be a surprise to see him make the grade this summer.
The tournament also looks like it has come too soon for the likes of Emile Smith Rowe and Joe Willock, who may be hopeful of making future squads.
Steve Clarke has named his Scotland squad with left-back Tierney in and expected to play a prominent role.
Group E
Spain – Hector Bellerin, Dani Ceballos
Sweden
Poland
Slovakia
Bellerin and Ceballos are hoping to edge back into Luis Enrique’s thinking having both been left out of the La Roja setup throughout 2021.
However, they look set to miss out to the likes of Barcelona starlet Pedri and Manchester City’s Sporting CP loanee Pedro Porro, while uncapped Pablo Mari is also set for a summer at home.
Group F
Hungary
Portugal – Cedric Soares
France
Germany – Bernd Leno
With Marc-Andre ter Stegen missing out through injury, Arsenal’s Leno is first reserve to Manuel Neuer after Joachim Low announced his squad.
Fernando Santos is expected to name full-back Cedric in the squad that will try to defend Portugal’s Euros title.
However, Arsenal’s long ties to the French national team have faded with no players among Didier Deschamps’ call-ups this summer – Alexandre Lacazette continues to be ignored by Les Bleus’ coach.
