Former Chelsea Premier League winners and current Belgium team-mates Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois were among those getting involved.

Madrid players – dressed in gloves, hats and snoods – continued to train in the frosty conditions.

And they confirmed online that their league clash away at relegation strugglers Osasuna has been given the green light and will be played this evening.

That was despite Madrid pushing to have the match rearranged after a snowstorm left them stuck at Barajas Airport for more than three hours.

The champions are second, two points behind Madrid rivals Atletico.

But Diego Simeone’s side – who suffered a shock cup defeat to Cornella in their last game – are armed with TWO games in hand.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was a scare for the must-win Osasuna game, having come into contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

But Zidane himself returned two negative tests and will be in the dugout at El Sadar.

Ramos is one of Real Madrid’s top earners but is demanding more to stay on for a further two years, claim reports

In his pre-match press conference, the Frenchman was quizzed on club captain Sergio Ramos – whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Zidane commented: “Are we going to have a Cristiano case? I don’t know what will happen with Ramos.

“He is here with us at the moment.

“We’re just focused on tomorrow’s game.”
