The Italian thought he had settled the brilliant contest when he scored a 90th minute penalty to fire the visitors 3-2 ahead.

But as the clock ticked into the 93rd minute, Sassuolo won a shock penalty when defender Kostas Manolas took down his opponent.
It was practically the final kick of the contest and as the full-time whistle blew, Insigne couldn’t hide his frustrations.
The 29-year-old captain burst down the tunnel and according to Corriere dello Sport, mouthed ‘s*** squad’ to his own team-mates.
It was reported the forward also launched a water bottle and kicked the advertising boards at the entrance of the changing rooms.
Tuttosport add how there was a furious exchange between Insigne and manager Gennaro Gattuso after the contest.
Insigne’s agent was forced to release a public statement defending the actions of his client.
Vincenzo Pisacane said: “That gesture of annoyance I think is the most normal reaction that one can have after having drawn a match in the 93rd minute for the concession of a penalty kick.
“Insigne, as I have often said, he loses twice, or rather, three times: as captain, as a footballer and as a Napoli fan.
“Lorenzo always wants the best out of himself on the pitch and in training: as a captain he encourages his team-mates to always expect the best in every moment.

“I want to clarify that he has not insulted anyone, but he only swore against a match thrown away at the last moment. As the boy’s agent, I am proud to manage a player and a man like that.”
The two points dropped could prove pivotal in the race for a Champions League spot and Gattuso’s reign.
The fiery Italian remains under huge pressure with his side five points adrift of Atalanta who occupy fourth spot.
