PATRIK SCHICK’S wonder-strike against Scotland has been crowned Euro 2020 Goal of the Tournament.
The Czech Republic star fired in a mind-blowing shot from the HALFWAY LINE during last month’s group stage game.
Schick’s side were already leading the Scots 1-0 when the Bayer Leverkusen ace tried his luck from 50 yards out.
The ball soared through the air as goalkeeper David Marshall, well out of his area, sprinted back to his box in desperation.
But the stopper was left helpless as the ball flew into the goal – with Marshall also crash-landing into the back of the net.
And Scotland’s morale was completely deflated as Czech Republic held out for a 2-0 win.
Schick’s effort saw off fierce competition to land the top prize.
Paul Pogba’s goal for France in their last 16 defeat by Switzerland came second.
And Luka Modric’s stunning hit for Croatia in their 3-1 win over Scotland was third.
Schick is the latest Euro 2020 award winner, with Italy goalie and tournament winner Gianluigi Donnarumma crowned Best Player.

Spain and Barcelona starlet Pedri had a summer to remember as he was named Best Young Player.
Meanwhile, England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford won the Golden Glove award for keeping five clean sheets.
And Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo was given the Golden Boot for most goals scored with five.
That was the same as Czech ace and Best Goal winner Schick.
But Ronnie scooped the trophy as he also produced one assist.
However, neither made the Euro 2020 Team of the Tournament – despite the stats suggesting they should have done.
