ERIK LAMELA scored another brilliant rabona goal for Tottenham against rivals Arsenal on Sunday before being sent off in a 2-1 defeat.
Jamie Redknapp immediately hailed it as ‘one of the best goals EVER in the Premier League’.
But Lamela went from hero to zero as he was shown two yellow cards in the space of seven minutes later on, with Spurs crashing to defeat in the derby.
Lamela, 28, set the Europa League alight in 2014 when he fired in an epic rabona shot against Asteras Tripolis.
And this time Arsenal were the victims of the clever Argentine winger as he gave Spurs the lead at the Emirates after 33 minutes.
Sergio Reguilon met a cross on the left-edge of Arsenal’s box and immediately hit it towards Lucas Moura, who was by the penalty spot.
The Brazilian, without hesitation, laid it off to Lamela who was standing just to his left.
And using pure instinct, while also not taking a second touch, the playmaker wrapped his left foot around his right ankle to immediately pop the football at goal.
The ball nutmegged Arsenal’s £45million midfielder Thomas Partey and sailed past Bernd Leno at the far post.
The goal was Lamela’s first-ever against Arsenal, having played them 10 times previously.

The game also marked his 250th appearance for Spurs – and ended a run of 36 goalless Premier League matches stretching back to September 2019.
It led to wild praise from Sky Sports pundit Redknapp, who was left in disbelief at the half-time break.
He beamed: “This is one of the best goals we’ve ever seen in the Premier League.
“We’ve seen 30-yarders, great volleys, great team goals, but never anything like this.
“He did it in a Europa League game a few years back – but the audacity to do it in a North London derby…
“It’s absolutely world class, an amazing piece of skill.”
However, Tottenham’s joy was short-lived as Arsenal hit an equaliser moments before half-time through Real Madrid loanee Martin Odegaard.
