DONNY VAN DE BEEK will reportedly hold talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer about his role at Manchester United.
The Dutchman, 24, arrived at Old Trafford from Ajax in a £39m deal last summer.
But he has only made four starts in the Premier League for the Red Devils and was an unused substitute in last week’s Europa League Final defeat.
Despite their big-money outlay on the midfielder, the star has suffered a frustrating time in the North West.
Now The Telegraph claims that Van De Beek is expected to hold talks with United boss Solskjaer about his role.
The ace made 36 appearances in all competitions last term.

He scored just one goal and only registered two assists in those outings.
And he even admitted back in November that he was keen to get more action.
Van De Beek said: “I’m a patient person, but of course you go there to play as much as possible.
“I also think – in the minutes that I have made, in the times that I have come in – I have shown that I can add something to the team.”

Van De Beek is currently on international duty with Holland ahead of this summer’s European Championships.
Meanwhile United have been handed a major boost in the race to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.
The Spaniard will push for a move to the Red Devils with Atletico willing to cash in for £40million.
Niguez, 26, has been a long-term target of United after they attempted to sign him a year ago.
Solskjaer hasn’t lost interest in the midfielder and is preparing to make his move with a fresh offer.
Niguez admitted he was flattered by their interest last year.
He said: “I am very flattered that a club like Manchester United or other teams that ask about me take me into consideration, for me it is very positive.
“And that strong people in those clubs speak well of you means that I am doing things well at Atletico Madrid.”
