TOTTENHAM are through to the EFL Cup final after beating Brentford 2-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Moussa Sissoko and Heung-min Son netted for Spurs, while the Bees saw Josh Dasilva sent off for a horror lunge after a VAR check.

Spurs are into the League Cup final thanks to goals from Moussa Sissoko and Son Heung-min.
It’s been 13 years since their last trophy and with Jose Mourinho at the wheel, 2021 could be their year.

“It’s a game which takes us to a final, probably, I hope not, but probably an empty Wembley final, but a Wembley final.
“And of course I’m very happy with that.”
Brentford boss Thomas Frank was incredibly proud of his team despite losing in the semi-final.
Frank said: “But first and foremost I must say that I’m very proud of my team, I hope the fans are unbelievably proud.”

“I’m really happy with the performance, I think we had control throughout the game against a very good side, I think they deserve a lot of credit.
“It’s not surprising that they’ve got this far in the competition, and we were well aware of that before the game so we made sure we were right in every way.”

Moussa Sissoko picks up his MOTM award and is quick to highlight the team effort that was responsible for the win.
He’s also asked if he’s heard Chaz and Dave’s ‘Spurs Are On Their Way To Wembley’, which was being played over the PA.

Spurs took charge of the second half and were rewarded for their efforts with Son scoring their second.
Brentford gave it a good go! They managed to register 11 shots to Spurs’ 12.

They almost found themselves on level terms, with Toney converting from close range.
VAR had a look and the forwards knee was offside, ruling the equaliser out.

The No7 raced clear of Dalsgaard before firing past Raya.
Dasliva was given his marching orders for a reckless challenge on Hojbjerg in the 82nd minute.
The former Arsenal man went over the top of the ball catching the Spurs midfielders shin, leaving him bleeding.
Mourinho’s men saw out the final minutes of the game to book their place in the final.
They’ll find out tomorrow who they’ll meet at Wembley on April 25.
