- MATCH REPORT - Plenty to talk about from tonight’s clash. - Spurs thought they’d taken the lead early on through Son Heung-Min, only for VAR to rule the goal out for offside. - Liverpool then took the lead on the stroke of half time as Roberto Firmino tapped home from close range to end Liverpool’s run of 482 minutes without a goal in the league. - Trent-Alexander Arnold’s effort doubled Liverpool’s lead, but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s wonder-strike pulled Spurs back into the game. - Liverpool thought they had gone 3-1 ahead through Salah, only for VAR to bring play back for a handball by Roberto Firmino on the halfway line. - Liverpool did then score a third, as Sadio Mane capitalised on a Joe Rodon error to put Liverpool 3-1 ahead. - After that Spurs didn’t show too many signs of getting back into the game, and Liverpool saw out the game to pick up their second win in nine league games. - CLICK HERE TO READ OUR MATCH REPORT
