Supercomputer predicts rest of Euro 2020 results with England FINALLY beating Germany but suffering final heartbreak

ENGLAND will finally beat Germany when they meet in their epic Euro 2020 last 16 showdown, according to a supercomputer.

But the Three Lions are set to suffer heartbreak in the final as the long wait for a major tournament win rages on.

Gareth Southgate’s squad rose to the top of Group D, beating Croatia and Czech Republic to set up a first knockout stage clash with the runners-up of the Group of Death.

England now face old rivals Germany, having not beaten them at a major tournament since the Euro 2000 group stage.

The Three Lions lost to the Germans in huge games such as the Euro 96 and Italia 90 semi-finals – both on penalties – as well as the last-16 of the 2010 World Cup.

But England WILL beat Germany on Tuesday evening at Wembley, according to bettingexpert.com’s supercomputer.

Sweden will triumph over Ukraine in their last-16 tie, setting up a quarter-final showdown with England.

And the Three Lions will survive that test too and will go up against Holland in the semi-finals.

According to the simulation, Holland will beat Czech Republic and Denmark – with the Danes bettering Wales in the last 16 – to reach the last-four.

England will avenge their 2018-19 Nations League semi-final battering to reach the final – against 2018 World Cup winners France.

BETTING SPECIAL: GET ENGLAND TO BEAT GERMANY AT 14/1

The supercomputer reckons France will beat neighbours Switzerland, Spain and Italy en route to the showpiece game at Wembley on July 11.

In what would be England’s first major tournament final since their 1966 World Cup win on home soil, the French will prove too strong for Southgate’s youthful squad.

And for the Three Lions and fans, 55 years of hurt is set to rage on – at least until next winter’s 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

On the simulation, a bettingexpert.com spokesperson said: “Despite some pessimism around England’s performance in the group stages, our supercomputer predicts them to make it all the way to the final.

“But France look too strong and, having come through a more difficult side of the draw, have the backing of the data to go one better than in 2016 and lift the trophy at Wembley.

“That will make for a sorry sight for the locals, but finishing as runners-up would represent real progress for Southgate and his young squad.”
