SOUTHAMPTON have completed a late deadline day swoop for Takumi Minamino.
The Japan international has joined from Liverpool on loan until the end of the season.

Both parties were keen to get a deal over the line after Saints made contact at the 11th hour.
The deal was announced just after 1am UK time.
And Minamino will now look to resurrect his Premier League career at St Mary’s.
The versatile winger, 26, only joined Liverpool a year ago from RB Salzburg.
Jurgen Klopp activated Minamino’s £7.25million release clause after the ace starred against Liverpool in the Champions League group stage.
However, Minamino failed to make an impact as the Reds stormed to their first-ever Premier League title.
His 14 appearances came mainly from the bench and he also failed to register a single goal.

Minamino fell down the pecking order even further when Liverpool signed Diogo Jota from Wolves over the summer.
And before linking up with Southampton, Minamino scored four times in 16 games, again mainly coming from the bench.
He will now look to get Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side back up the Premier League table.
And should Minamino impress, there may even be the opportunity to extend his Saints stay in the summer.
But it remains to be seen if Minamino makes his debut against Manchester United on Tuesday, with Saturday’s game against Newcastle more likely.
