SERGIO AGUERO will leave Manchester City at the end of the season after a decade of banging in goals for fun.
The Argentine 32-year-old will go down as one of the Premier League’s greatest ever strikers.
Aguero arrived from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and has scored 181 league goals in 271 outings for the Etihad side.
He is fourth on the list of all-time top Premier League scorers behind only Alan Shearer (260), Wayne Rooney (208) and Andy Cole (187).
But stats provided by Opta show that Aguero has the best minutes per goal strike rate of anyone to have played in England’s top-flight.
His 181 strikes have come at a rate of one every 108 minutes – putting him ahead of Thierry Henry (122) and Harry Kane (122).
Ex-Man Utd hitman Ruud van Nistelrooy scored his 95 goals at a rate of one every 128 minutes, while Mo Salah has netted once every 130 minutes.
Luis Suarez (139) and Robin van Persie (141) are also on the list, which only includes players who’ve scored at least 20 Premier League goals.
Aguero’s goals have fired Man City to four Premier League titles – with a fifth set to follow this season.
None were more famous or iconic than his stoppage-time strike against QPR in the summer of 2012 to edge out local rivals Man Utd.

Aguero confirmed his decision to move on in an emotional post on social media.
He said: “When a cycle comes to an end, many sensations arise.
“A huge sense of satisfaction and pride remains in me for having played with Manchester City for a whole ten seasons – unusual for a professional player in this day and age.
“Ten seasons with major achievements, throughout which I was able to become the top historic goalscorer and forging an indestructible bond with all those who love this club – people who will always be in my heart.
“I was to join during the reconstruction era of 2011, and with the guidance of the owners and the contributions of many players, we earned a place among the greatest of the world.
“The task to maintain this well-deserved privileged position will remain on others.
“As for myself, I will continue to give it my utmost for the rest of the season to win more titles and bring more joy to the fans.
“Then, a new stage with new challengers will begin, and I am fully ready to face them with the same passion and professionalism that I have always dedicated to continue competing at the highest level.”
