But he has struggled to hit top form in LaLiga after being hampered by numerous injuries.
This season he has been restricted to just 10 starts domestically as Los Blancos missed out on the title to rivals Atletico Madrid.
Hazard, 30, also felt the wrath of Madrid fans after he was spotted joking with Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma straight after his old side had dumped them out of the Champions League earlier this month.
Now Spanish television show El Chiringuito de Jugones claims Hazard is looking to leave Madrid this summer.
And he has his heart set on making a comeback at Chelsea.
The attacker spent seven seasons in West London and enjoyed huge success.
He helped them to lift two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and the Europa League twice.
This fresh speculation comes after claims Madrid are preparing to offload Hazard following his disappointing spell in the Spain’s capital.

He is just one of a number of players they hoping to offload over the coming months.
Luka Jovic, Gareth Bale, Dani Ceballos, Mariano and Brahim Diaz are all expected to be available for transfer to try and boost the club’s finances.
It is widely-believed that they would be willing to accept offers of around £43m for Hazard.
