The Wolves striker underwent emergency surgery on a fractured skull following a sickening clash with Arsenal’s David Luiz two months ago.
But the 29-year-old is back in the gym and his manager is thrilled with his progress.
Nuno said: “He is doing good. He had a consultation and the results are amazing.
“So, gradually he will progress. It’s too soon yet to predict an exact point.
“He’s working by himself, but with a good intensity in his training sessions, so we’re really positive and delighted with how he is doing.”
Jimenez started light fitness training just weeks after the horror injury and he appears to be making remarkable progress.
With the Mexican’s war wound on full show, Wolves released pictures of their main man working alongside a training instructor in the gym at the end of January.
Jimenez is being put through a variety of one-to-one exercises as he works towards an emotional return to the field.

There were initial doubts whether the Mexican would ever be able to play Premier League football again.
But Nuno put initial fears to bed by announcing he can make a playing comeback at the highest level.
Jimenez has attended the majority of Wolves’ games since he was released from hospital and has been kept as part of the first-team bubble of late.
