IT’S been a dramatic final day of the Premier League season.
Liverpool and Chelsea have reached the Champions League, despite the Blues going down 2-1 to Aston Villa.
That’s due to Leicester’s loss at home to Tottenham where Harry Kane won the Golden Boot after netting in a 4-2 thriller.
While Sergio Aguero bagged twice on his Man City farewell after coming off the bench as the champions put five past Everton.

GOODBYE
The Premier League season has come to an end.
Shorter than usual, quieter than usual, more live games than usual, but packed full of drama until the last.
The winners on the final afternoon were Liverpool and Chelsea, despite the latter losing at Aston Villa. However, Leicester’s home defeat at the hands of Tottenham meant the Reds and Blues finished in the top four with the Foxes having to settle for the Europa League once again.
It’s a competition West Ham will be delighted to be a part of; the Hammers’ 3-0 thumping of Southampton meant they ended a fine campaign in sixth spot with a record points total.
Harry Kane sealed the Golden Boot as Spurs edged out Arsenal to take their place in the newly-formed Europa Conference League while Manchester United’s second string ensured the Red Devils went the entire campaogn unbeaten away from Old Trafford.
Emotions were high as goodbyes were said to Roy Hodgson, Nuno Espirito, Wes Morgan, Georginio Wijnaldum and, especially, Sergio Aguero, whose two goals off the bench meant he ends his Manchester City career with more Premier League goals for one club than any other player.
And it’s City, for whom the final word is reserved. The league’s best side were worthy title winners. Champions of England tonight, this time next week they could be champions of Europe.
PEP’S TEARS FOR SERGIO
The celebrations at the Etihad Stadium are somewhat bittersweet tonight as the club comes to terms that Sergio Aguero is leaving the club.
In an incredibly emotional interview, City boss Pep Guardiola breaks down as he talks about what a special player and person the Argentine is.
THE TROPHY LIFT
The fans are back at the Etihad Stadium to enjoy the Premier League trophy being shown off and celebrated.
Happy days are here again.
CITY SLICKERS
As Manchester City’s players and staff lift the Premier League trophy in front of their fans, let’s have a look at the accomplishments of Pep Guardiola’s men this season.
GOALSHY BY THE THAMAS
With a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle at Craven Cottage, relegated Fulham end the season having set a new record low for home goals scored in a Premier League season.
Scott Parker’s team managed just nine goals in South-West London this term, beating the previous total of 10 set by Manchester City in 2007 and Huddersfield in 2019.
GUNNERS MISS OUT
Despite a superb late rally, Arsenal miss out on European football for the first time in a quarter of a century – and, to make matters worse, finish behind Spurs for a fifth successive season.
KANE STRIKES GOLD
With an assist for Gareth Bale, and a first half goal of his own, Harry Kane has finished top of the Premier League goalscoring charts AND the most assists chart.
His contribution won him both the Golden Boot and the Playmaker award, and fired Tottenham into the Europa Conference League – but does his future lie away from Spurs?
THE FINAL STANDINGS
Manchester City are champions.
Manchester United are runners-up.
Liverpool and Chelsea qualify for the Champions League.
Leicester and West Ham qualify for the Europa League.
Tottenham qualify for the Europa Conference League.
Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Sheffield are relegated.
