PAUL POGBA revealed Manchester United’s best two finishers – and then gave his diplomatic answer to the Cristiano Ronaldo vs Lionel Messi debate.
The French midfielder also named the toughest two players he has come up against in his career.
Pogba, 28, conducted a Q&A in United’s matchday programme where he was quizzed on who is the No1 at finding the back of the net – other than Luke Shaw, who Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reckons is top dog in that department.
And after joking the best finisher was Harry Maguire, the World Cup winner settled on teenager Mason Greenwood and veteran Edinson Cavani.
The pair have 22 goals between them this season.
Pogba said: “Besides Shaw? I would like to say Maguire.
“The best finisher, I think it’s Mason. Yeah, Mason, I would say.
“And Edi. Yeah, Mason with the feet and Edi with his head.”
But Pogba was less decisive when it came to picking between two of the greatest footballers of all time – Messi or Ronaldo.
Instead, he insisted they are two different legends and he simply wants to enjoy them both.

Pogba added: “It’s a nice but tricky question, as there is no best for me. Two different players.
“They are two players who both bring joy to watch. Any people are going to have their own opinion of them, just two legends.
“Me, I would just say they are two legends and not one is better than the other one.
“Just two people that give us football players, or football lovers, joy to watch.”
Finally, Pogba identified holding midfielders N’Golo Kante and Casemiro as his two hardest opponents.
Chelsea man Kante – who won the World Cup with Pogba in 2018 – forged his reputation for his incredible energy and ability to win the ball back.
Casemiro, Kante’s Champions League semi-final opponent, has been the key man behind Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in Real Madrid’s midfield in recent years.
Pogba said: “My toughest opponent on the pitch? To be honest, it’s tough against N’Golo Kante. Casemiro too, he is a hard one also.
“I can’t remember all of them – they’re the first ones that come into mind, that I had.
“Yes, those are the first ones, maybe there are a few more players but I don’t have the names now.”
