ONDREJ KUDELA will appeal his ten-game Uefa ban for racially abusing Glen Kamara to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
It is his last attempt to overturn the decision and give him a chance of appearing at this summer’s Euros.
The Slavia Prague defender, 34, was found guilty of racist comments made towards the Rangers star during their Europa League clash in March.
Kamara spoke out in a TV interview about the ordeal for the first time on April 7 – one week before Kudela’s ban was initially delivered.
The Finnish ace said that he was branded a “f*****g monkey” by Kudela, with team-mate Bongani Zungu backing up those claims.
Kudela’s initial appeal was turned down by Uefa’s committee on Wednesday.
But now, as reported by France24, Kudela’s lawyer Rene Cienciala has confirmed they are taking the case to the highest court in European sport to clear his name.
The Czech player said via his legal team: “I regret being deprived of taking part in the Euros, but I want to clean my honour, so we will continue to fight.”
Kudela’s punishment has sparked outrage in the Czech Republic.
The president’s office even filed a complaint to Uefa.

It said the ban was ‘only to fulfil the perverted expectations of a narrow group of activists’ and signified ‘ridiculous bowing to silly trends’.
National team boss Jaroslav Silhavy left a space in his Euro 2020 squad with the hope of Kudela being cleared to play in time.
However, even a successful appeal to CAS is unlikely to see the defender involved at the tournament.
The process could take several months before a final decision is confirmed.
Their Euros campaign begins against Scotland on June 14 before taking on Croatia four days later and England a further four days after that.
Silhavy said: “We will wait for the situation around the appeal of Ondrej Kudela against the ten-match penalty to develop this week.
“We feel that the hope is probably low, but we do not want to slam the door.
“In any case, we have time to operate with that one place on the roster until June 1.”
