OLE GUNNAR SOLKJAER will have a £70million transfer kitty in January if Man Utd are still in the title race, reports say.
The Red Devils spent £134.7m in the summer window on some big names from across Europe.
Cristiano Ronaldo made a dramatic return to the club, and United picked up his former Real Madrid team-mate Raphael Varane for just £36m too.
The Red Devils also bought England international Jadon Sancho into the club for an eye-watering £73m.
And according to the Daily Star, Solskjaer could be given an additional £70m to spend in January – but there’s a catch.
Man Utd HAVE to be in the title race for the funds to be available for the Norwegian.
But as it stands, United sit sixth in the table, five points off table-toppers Chelsea.
And the Red Devils have failed to win in all of their last three league games, losing 4-2 to Leicester City on Saturday.

Should Man Utd’s form get better before January, who would fit within their budget?
Aurelien Tchouameni
One name Man Utd have been linked with is Monaco ace Aurelien Tchouameni.
The powerful defensive midfielder is being tracked by a host of top European clubs including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.
And according to ESPN, Monaco have slapped a £50m price tag on the highly-rated 21-year-old, who joined from Bordeaux in January last year.
Midfield has been a concern for Man Utd for some time, and Tchouameni could be a long-term fix.
Franck Kessie
AC Milan ace Franck Kessie will be a free agent come the end of the season IF he doesn’t sign a new contract.
The 24-year-old Ivory Coast international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford after a series of impressive performances.
Milan have offered him a new contract but the midfielder’s agent is unimpressed with their initial offer.
George Atangana told Calciomercato.com: “An important player needs a contract that is up to his standards.
“There was a formal offer from the club and a request from the agent, but we are talking about figures a long way off what you are referring to [£6.5million a year].
“For too long people have been saying things in the wrong way. I am sorry for those who read these stories and believe them to be true.”
If the player states he won’t renew at Milan, the Serie A giants could look to recoup something for the highly regarded midfielder.
United are not the only club chasing Kessie’s signature with Liverpool, Arsenal and PSG also interested in the midfielder.
Darwin Nunez
Man Utd have reportedly sent scouts to watch Benfica’s Darwin Nunez in action on multiple occasions.
Nunez shone in the first two games United reportedly had officials in the house for.
The Uruguayan forward is valued at £18m.
