NORWICH are being linked with Armenia right-winger Norberto Briasco after losing star man Emiliano Buendia to Aston Villa.
The newly-promoted Canaries are thought willing to pay Argentinians Huracan their £3.2million asking price for Briasco, whereas South American giants Boca Juniors are said to be offering just £1.6m.

Championship winners Norwich are reeling from Buendia’s £38m departure, Villa winning a duel with Arsenal.
And media in Argentina suggest the Canaries have contacted Briasco’s hometown club Huracan.
The 25-year-old is rated high up the list of potential replacements for fellow Argentine star Buendia, 24.
Briasco, who qualifies for Armenia through his maternal grandfather, has won eight caps alongside ex-Arsenal and Manchester United wideman Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
He has bagged nine goals in 86 games for top-flight team Huracan.
Argentine sports daily Ole say Huracan want 4.5m US dollars – £3.2m.
And Norwich boss Daniel Farke has money to burn following Buendia’s exit for a club-record fee.

Yet it’s claimed Farke could have had even more cash to splash this summer – as the Gunners might have offered MORE than Villa.
Football London’s Chris Wheatley reported that Arsenal were also willing to match the wages Villa proposed.
Then they “matched” and “went even more” on the £38m fee.

But the structure of the deal the Gunners put forward scuppered it – as Villa’s was “more enticing”.
Norwich initially demanded £40m, and turned down £30m-plus offers from both Arsenal and Villa.
In the end, Villa are paying around £33m, with £5m add-ons to come.
