Jamie Vardy put the Foxes in front on eight minutes but Norwich were gifted an equaliser when Caglar Soyuncu gave a penalty away which Teemu Pukki converted.

Marc Albrighton fired the travellers back in front with 76 minutes on the clock.

But moments later, Norwich thought they were level when Kenny McLean headed past the helpless Kasper Schmeichel.

However, their reprieve came when replays showed Cantwell stood in front of the Danish goalkeeper – despite not touching the ball.
