YOURI TIELEMANS says he is ‘keeping his options open’ as talks over a new Leicester deal continue.
The Belgium international, who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, has entered the last two years of his current Foxes deal.
And he told Sky Sports: “There’s no update really. I’m open to everything. The transfer market has just closed, but I want to keep as many options as I can open.
“As long as I’m here I will give everything for the club. I’ve already done so, but I will do so even more.
“The contract situation is just something that is going on in football, it’s a normal situation.”
“There are talks going on – I’m not saying I’m going to sign, I’m not saying I’m not going to sign. We will see.”
Brendan Rodgers is eager for the midfielder to sign new terms at the King Power Stadium to warn off interest from Europe’s top clubs.
And the former Liverpool and Celtic boss has said he hopes he will be playing for for the Midlands club for years to come.

He said during the summer: “I hope we can have him for longer.
“He is a top-class professional, a great guy and someone I love working with. He is very focused on his football and doesn’t get sidetracked at all.
“As I have said before, I will give him everything to help him continuously improve and he will continue to give us everything too.
“For me and Youri, it just continues – our relationship. Hopefully, we can resolve something in the future.”
Since joining from Monaco for a club-record fee of £35million in 2019, he has helped Leicester to two fifth-placed finishes in the Premier League.
He also has had a hand in bringing silverware to the club after scoring the winner against Chelsea in the FA Cup final and starring in their Community Shield victory over Manchester City.
Tielemans has made 118 appearances for Leicester scoring 18 goals and 19 assists in all competitions.
