That is because the United players have to be at their best to get with him, according to the Brazil international who is very happy to have the five-time Ballon d’Or winner on board.

Fred told the club’s official website: “It’s so good training with Cristiano, he is a very good guy, the best player you know about.

“We are so happy to have Cristiano here with us, and I hope he can bring us any titles at Manchester United.”

Ronaldo is well-known for taking extra care of his physique with a very strict diet, workout routine and lifestyle.

The Portugal international has returned to Manchester a completely different man than the kid he was when Sir Alex Ferguson signed him in 2003 from Sporting Lisbon.

Fred added when asked if the 36-year-old looks sharp in training: “Of course, yeah!
