The Premier League runners-up would usually put on a huge party and screening to watch the game.

But due to coronavirus restrictions the backroom team aren’t allowed to be together to watch the European clash.

However, United are letting employees have today or tomorrow off as a goodwill gesture after a tough season.

They are also giving everyone a ‘front room final party pack’ including drinks, snacks, free merchandise and takeaway vouchers.

A United email to staff read: “Unfortunately, we aren’t able to get together to watch the match as we usually would.

“However, it’s important we mark this occasion and celebrate the achievements of Ole and the team and the hard work of everyone at the club.

“So we’re going to bring the Europa League party to your home. This will include a day off.
