MANCHESTER UNITED fans are encouraging boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to land Pau Torres after his brilliant Europa League final performance.
The Spanish centre-back was at the forefront of Villarreal’s famous penalty win over the Red Devils in Gdansk.
Torres, 24, has been linked with a move to Old Trafford this summer and has a £55million release clause in his contract.
Solskjaer is in the market for a new central defender to play alongside Harry Maguire.
And supporters believe Torres would be the answer to their defensive problems following his commanding performance.
One wrote: “Pau Torres is exactly what we need.”

Torres has come through the ranks at Villarreal and has been called up to the Spain Euro 2020 squad.
