MANCHESTER UNITED are braced for bids for Diogo Dalot this summer – with AC Milan keen on a permanent deal.
The 22-year-old full-back has had a mixed season-long loan, playing a supporting role as the Italian giants fight for a Champions League spot in Serie A.
He made just his tenth league start of the campaign in a 2-0 home win over Benevento at the weekend.
But SunSport understands the Rossoneri will attempt to land him when the transfer window opens for around £15m.
The Portuguese defender is set to explore his options this summer after falling down the pecking order at Old Trafford.
He can play on both at both left and right-back, but the £40,000-a-week man is not in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s current plans.
Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are first choice with Alex Telles, Brandon Williams and others fighting for a spot.
Dalot has made 27 appearances for AC Milan during the last year, in a stop-start campaign.
He started brightly and was a key part of the team pushing for the title just after Christmas.

But Stefano Pioli’s men tailed off in the last few months, leaving rivals Inter to claim the league crown.
Former AC star Mauro Tassotti told Gazzetta dello Sport last week: “Should Dalot be bought out? Technically, my opinion is positive.
“Someone like him should be in Milan team.”
