MANCHESTER UNITED and Liverpool have entered the race sign Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri this summer, according to reports.
But West Ham remain in the driving seat to secure the Moroccan’s signature.
The Hammers tried to sign En-Nesyri to replace Sebastian Haller in January.
But their £26.7million bid was knocked back.
David Moyes’ side remain keen on the 23-year-old, and are expected to up their offer at the end of the season.
But, according to Estadio Deportivo, Man United and Liverpool see the striker as a potential alternative to the in-demand Erling Haaland.
Sevilla are rumoured to be willing to let go of their leading goalscorer for around £40m, despite efforts to renew his contract – although his current deal does still have four years left to run.
West Ham will want to get a deal done as swiftly as possible, in order to prevent Man United or Liverpool swooping in.
Sevilla sit fourth in LaLiga, just six points off the top of the table with seven games remaining.
And En-Nesyri has been a key factor in their success.

The former Leganes and Malaga marksman has scored 22 goals this season, including 16 in LaLiga and a further six in the Champions League.
He impressed in Sevilla’s narrow defeat to Borussia Dortmund last month, scoring twice against the Germans at Signal Iduna Park.
The Hammers, meanwhile, have had to improvise upfront.
Wide players Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen have had to share striker duties, and even more so since Haller’s January exit.
But despite their lack of out and out No9s, the Hammers are flying – sitting fourth in the Premier League table.
